  • 300 DPI at full print size

Paper printing
PDF or PNG
  • 1/8" bleed on every side
  • Crop marks
  • 300 DPI at final size
Embroidery
EPS, AI or PDF
  • Vector logo is best
  • We set it up for stitching
  • Very small text may not stitch
Banners & signs
PDF
  • Built at full size
  • Vector, or at least 150 DPI at full size
  • Text outlined

These must be redrawn

  • Screenshots
  • Photos of a logo taken with a phone (on a shirt, sign or paper)
  • Logos saved from a website, Google Images, Facebook or Instagram
  • Small or blurry JPGs, or files pasted into a Word document

These print blurry or with a box around them, so we redraw them before printing. Artwork and design work is quote-based.

3 quick checks before you send

1. Zoom in.
Zoom to 200%. If the edges look blurry, fuzzy or blocky, the file is too small.
2. Check the size.
Pixel width ÷ 300 = the biggest print in inches. A 12" wide shirt print needs a file about 3600 pixels wide.
3. Check the background.
For shirts, open the PNG. You should see a gray-and-white checkerboard behind the design, not a white box.

Where to find a good file

Whoever made your logo has the original file. Try:

  • The designer or company that created your logo
  • A print shop or sign company that has printed it before
  • Your school, league, team or company office (ask for the "brand" or "logo" folder)

Copy and send them this:

"Can you send me our logo as a vector file (AI, EPS or PDF), plus a PNG with a transparent background at 300 DPI? It's for printing."

Can't get these files? We'll redraw it.

Send us the best version you have, even a photo. Our art team will redraw it as clean artwork and send you a proof before anything is printed. Artwork and design work is quote-based.
